Community’s FORECASTER Ceiling System Software is an easy-to-use engineering tool which provides general design suggestions for ceiling systems. This free utility program helps select the proper Community ceiling speaker to use for various applications, based on desired music level or background noise level and on the loudspeaker’s dispersion.
  

Community’s FORECASTER Ceiling System Software is an easy-to-use engineering tool which provides general design suggestions for ceiling systems.  This free utility program helps select the proper Community ceiling speaker to use for various applications, based on desired music level or background noise level and on the loudspeaker’s dispersion.

DOWNLOAD a free copy of FORECASTER by saving the file forecaster_v1.4.xls (2mb) to your hard drive.  FORECASTER runs in Microsoft Excel 2003 or 2007 (PC version only).

Current version: Forecaster 1.4.1  release date: December 2008

Microsoft Excel 2003 Users:

  • Active contents macro must be enabled.  Go to Tools > Macro > Security > (Low).
  • Analysis toolpak add-ins must be installed and activated.  Go to Tools > Add-Ins > Click on Analysis Toolpak.

Microsoft Excel 2007 Users:

  • Active contents macro must be enabled.  Excel 2007 users will be prompted to activate the active contents macro upon opening the FORECASTER file.
